Press Release Summary = Baseball: The Perfect Classroom for Life Lessons

Press Release Body = The focus on life lessons learned from baseball is sure to be
on the rise especially from the announcement that Major League Baseball and the Cal
Ripken Sr. Foundation are partnering to expand Reviving Baseball in Inner (RBI)
Cities program.

Cal Ripken, who will be inducted in the Hall of Fame this summer, has always been a
promoter of youth baseball and the lessons it teaches. "We're using baseball to
teach life lessons," Ripken said. "A very small percentage of kids go onto fulfill
their dream of being a big league player. But baseball can impact the direction of
their lives."

That's nothing new to the thousands of weekend coaches who volunteer at their local
youth league. In fact one such coach, David Kloser from Dallastown, Pennsylvania
took the learning of life lessons from the baseball field a step further and wrote a
book, \"Stepping up to the Plate: Inspiring Interviews with Major Leaguers\".

Kloser personally interviewed Albert Pujols, Alex Rodriguez, Barry Zito, David
Ortiz, Jimmy Rollins, Al Kaline and over 300 of today's top Major League Baseball
players and Hall of Famers about the important lessons they've learned from playing
baseball.

What Kloser uncovered were "insider secrets" of the big league mind about achieving
success, overcoming adversity, handling heckling and more, and how it pertains to
life off the field at home, school or the workplace.

Kloser adds, "It was really refreshing to hear so many of the players tell me all
the different ways the game of baseball has taught them about life, on and off the
field."
